Used Barrique 225 l – 228 l in the Burgundy or Bordeaux style made of oak with black or galvanized hoops. The barrels show some signs of wear and tear and and some have red wine spots. Color variations are possible. Some of the barrels are fitted with wooden hoops and the metal hoops might show signs of rust. The barrels are technically in good condition but but can no longer be used for foodstuffs. Before the barrels are shipped, they are cleaned with a high pressure hose and the hoops are tightened. The barrels are sold unsorted and no prior selection is possible.Our decorative barrels are mainly suitable for outdoor use.If you still want to place the barrel in heated rooms, we highly recommend that the staves are glued by our coopers. (This choice can be selected under 'Accessories').In this way, your barrel will remain in a stable condition for a long time. Those who are dedicated to distillates and are passionate about a certain luxury will find that certain something with the copper valinch. The whisky thief is now not only an indispensable and practical accessory, but also a visual eye-catcher. Freshly emptied, highly aromatic 110 l gin barrels from one of Germany's best-known gin distilleries.Pre-emptied gin barrels are a very rare product, as the maturing of gin in wooden barrels has only just gained a fresh impetus. And speaking of fresh - this is precisely the special feature of gin barrels. The tart and herbaceous spice of resin and grass from the juniper berries is an incomparable aroma that can be imparted to your distillate by maturing or finishing it in pre-seasoned gin barrels. The variety and complexity of flavors in gin is an interesting component in the finishing process of distillates. It is not for nothing that gin is a popular player in the bar scene. After all, gin and its aromatics are an indispensable component of many cocktails, which reflects its diversity but also its compatibility. Bath tub made from a used 600 l barrel. The barrels are leak-proof and may show coloration from the red wine that has matured in them. The barrel is refurbished and sanded in our joinery. It is fitted with a Douglas fir lid and two oak handles so you can protect the water from getting dirty.Ladder and bench:The ladder and bench are made of high-quality, durable Douglas fir wood in our joinery. The steps are chamfered and fitted with a non-slip grained surface. The bench is planed, connected with stainless steel screws and finely sanded.Our wood comes from sustainable forestry from the Palatinate Forest. We prepare the wood on site in our own sawmill and dry it in the air. During production, the wood is professionally cut, planed, glued, screwed and sanded by our carpenters.Note: Please note that each ladder and each bench is unique and the dimensions can be adjusted depending on the barrel.
