Champagne racking boards, since time immemorial and for centuries used in the production of champagne to shake off the yeast in the bottle necks, these original racking boards made of French oak today mainly serve as decoration.
The original racking boards decorate today gardens and house entrances to equip them with plants or in restaurants as notice boards even with menus.
The shaking desks are weather resistant, the metal hinges are subject to rust, but their consistency is very long-lasting, especially since they have survived for decades in their original use in damp and deep cellars in the Champagne region.
