Used oak barrel 400 l.

Our decorative barrels are mainly suitable for outdoor use. If you still want to place the barrel in heated rooms, we strongly recommend to have the staves glued by our coopers. This is the only way to ensure that your barrel will remain stable for a long time.

Every oak barrel is unique. Different colorations arose from the precious content that once stored them. Small notches in the wood or small bumps are not quality defects but rather determined by the nature of the construction and the prior use of the barrels. Hardly any other piece of furniture spreads so much authenticity, Spirit and feel-good atmosphere like a wooden barrel, each telling a different story from days gone by.

When selecting a location, please note that tannins or residues from the previous storage may be washed out under certain circumstances. If you have any questions about the placement of your decorative barrel, we will be happy to help and advise you.

The barrel screw made of stainless steel with brass nut, guarantees an optically elegant option, the fixing of a glass plate on a wooden barrel. Instructions for self-assembly:First of all, the drum lid is removed from the drum professionally and a 10 mm hole is placed in the middle. The stainless steel thread is placed into the wooden barrel lid from below and the lid is fixed back into the barrel. Then the round glass plate, which is equipped with a hole, is placed on the stainless steel thread. The brass plastic ring is then placed on top of it and finally the screw is fixed with the brass nut. When you buy the glass plate the barrel screw is included. If you order the glass plate together with a barrel, we install this barrel screw directly into the barrel, so that you only have to put on the glass plate.

We produce each tabletop individually in our cooperage. We obtain the logs from the growing area Nordvogesen/Pfalz Forest. The table tops are made of solid square timber, notched and glued and the edges are chamfered. If desired, the top can be treated with linseed oil to give it a silky matt shine. Three small wooden blocks are fixed to the underside of the tabletop, which allows it to be placed on a 225 l barrel.
