The special thing about Laphroaig's Quarter Cask Whisky is that it is first stored in used bourbon casks and then in the smaller 125 l casks (the so-called double-mature process).  In the past, these casks have only come into contact with Laphroaig whiskies, which is why they give off a smoky aroma of peat ash and an intense malt and citrus scent. Cream is a blend of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez and offers a even-tempered sweetness and balance. The Ardmore Distillery lies in the Scottish Highlands and has traditionally a strong connection with the region and the locals. Ardmore Whisky is naturally at the heart of this connection.
